April Update

Can’t believe we are into the month of May. Things in Okinawa continue to roll right along. We are still praising God we are almost finished with the school year and we have still not had to close school due to COVID. Andy is finishing up his three year rotation with the elementary students. Three years ago we started in Genesis and are now we are finishing up the epistles. We are praising God because we are able to start having small concerts and gatherings at school. God is good, and we are grateful for all of your prayers!

• This last month we had a neighborhood outreach in our neighborhood. We had several neighborhood children come. We had an Easter egg hunt, and gave a gospel message about the hope that we have in the resurrection. Pray that the seeds sown will take root and grow.​
• ​This month, pre k had a concert that was very adorable. The students sang several songs including, ‘I have peace like a River’, ‘Our God is so Big’, and ‘Jesus Loves Me’. It was absolutely precious. Towards the end, Andy was able to share about how to have peace like a river.
• This month, for the third year in a row, we took a camping trip to one of our favorite places, Ie Jima, to go camping with a few family friends.
• There are a lot going on during the month of May and June with the school year coming to a close, graduations, concerts, field days, elementary camps, etc. Please keep our family, the school, and all of the upcoming events up in your prayers!
