Family Update- January

Such a busy and fun month and start to 2016. Before Christmas we got to enjoy a quick trip down to Okinawa and visited the island and Okinawa Christian School International down there. Such a beautiful place and a school that truly strives after the heart of Jesus and reaching the lost. I (Megan) was blessed to be able to return to the States for a week and meet my new niece, Avia. Such a great time snuggling the baby, going out to eat my with my family, and catching up on some very overdue conversations. This month we've enjoyed some Saturdays that were fairly unscheduled and were blessed to be able to do a cooking class, a 10K race for Andy and a 1.5K race for me and the girls, and some down time at home. All three girls are doing great and enjoying school, their friends, gymnastics class, and working hard at Japanese classes twice a week. Mia continues to be our little "Sue Heck" and joins every club she can fit into her schedule; Naomi spends most of her free time drawing pictures of animals and playing outside; Eliya is in constant chatter but loves to play with her sisters and to help Mom and Dad do just about anything around the house, especially cook. 
Some things you can be in prayer for our family about over the next few months...

• Transition to Okinawa in June... a house, furniture, happy children, saying goodbye well
• Mia's continued improvement with her asthma/eczema and food allergies and wisdom on medicines to give her
• Eliya's birthday party next month- we're inviting some of her friends from Japanese school
• Megan is working to finish her Principal Certificate (Post-grad) and is in the middle of a course on Teacher Supervision
• Andy is working to finish all of the preparations to become official with Team Expansion
