May Update

The school year is coming to a close here in Okinawa, so that means busy schedules and goodbyes to the seniors we've both been teaching and discipling this year. Here's some highlights from the month of May.

• The Japanese Christian Church Conference was held in Okinawa this year- a great chance to reunite and connect with many church leaders from throughout Japan and Okinawa.
• Megan led the 12th grade students on their senior service trip to Taiwan- they climbed elephant mountain, took a open air bus tour, served at Home of God's Love Orphanage, and more.
• The final Mom's Bible study group for the year meets tomorrow- pray that these moms would return next year to learn more and would be interested in knowing more about Jesus.
• Megan's brother Dan arrived today to spend a few weeks helping us with ministry and will serve as a counselor at Joy Bible Camp in Tokyo.
• OCSI's graduation is tomorrow night- looking forward to a special night of celebrating with these students!

Some prayer requests...

• For OCSI to be fully staffed (we are still in need of a few teachers) and for more students to choose a Christian education
• Our travel to the States this summer- we are looking forward to the time, but it is always busy and a bit stressful
• More opportunities to share the gospel with our friends and students and their families
